AMD has introduced its 9060 XT GPU at Computex 2025. This mid-range GPU aims to directly compete with Nvidia’s 5060 Ti And competes with it on nearly every specification. It is constructed this way. AMD’s 4-nanometer RDNA 4 chip , the 9060 XT will pack 32 compute units, along with 64 dedicated AI accelerators and 32 ray-tracing cores.

Significantly, the RX 9060 XT will be available with both 8GB and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. In contrast, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti comes equipped with quicker 28 Gb/s GDDR7, providing about 40 percent higher bandwidth (448 GB/s compared to around 322 GB/s) using the same 128-bit interface. However, we should hold off on making definitive judgments until after seeing direct comparison benchmarks based on their specifications.

AMD has set the boost clock of the 9060 XT as high as 3.13 GHz. This GPU offers 821 TOPS for artificial intelligence tasks and consumes between 150 to 182 watts from the circuit board. It connects through PCIe 5.0 x16 and includes support for DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b standards. According to these preliminary specifications, the 9060XT appears well-suited for gaming at 1080p resolution and could also serve adequately for 1440p displays.
