AT&T Pours Over $1.2 Billion into Kansas Network Upgrades Since 2020

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - AT&T Has committed more than $1.2 billion to Kansas network infrastructure between 2020 and 2024, bringing high-speed, dependable internet access to more residents.
As stated in an announcement from AT&T, this dedication is increasing availability of high-speed fiber networks, broadening 5G network coverage, and improving FirstNet services for public safety personnel.
AT&T states that this initiative goes beyond mere technology; it aims to connect Kansans with opportunities for employment, education, and emergency services, all while fostering local economic development.
AT&T Fiber is now accessible to over 370,000 customer addresses across more than 30 municipalities with nearly 1.6 million fiber route miles in Kansas.
