US Army's Interactive STEM Lab on a Roll Across the Nation

MISS GAUTIER, Miss. (WLOX) - A 65-foot interactive trailer from the U.S. Army has returned to the coast with dual objectives: recruitment and showcasing technological advancements used on the modern battleground.
Students utilized gaming simulators that demonstrated the most recent technologies and scientific advancements intended for use in the Army.
Sergeant First Class Kyle Markow indicates that this is all part of recruitment efforts and aims to demonstrate how advancements in technology are being utilized to create new opportunities and benefits.
"This provides them with a visualization of what they might encounter in the Army if they choose to join. The Army encompasses a wide range of experiences, not limited to just one particular role," he explained.
"And their main objective is to assist us in promoting the Army, demonstrating the direction our technology is taking — essentially giving the public a clearer view of what the Army stands for," Markow explained.
On Wednesday, the trailer will arrive at Pascagoula High School.
Should the public wish to see this traveling exhibition, they may view it every Thursday at the Gulfport Premium Outlets between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
